This is Staffordshire reports that homeowner Kay Mitchell is saving energy and hundreds of pounds after having her own solar power electricity system fitted. Kay, who lives in Newcastle, had nine photovoltaic (PV) panels installed on the roof of her home. And the system will soon earn the 53-year-old money, as she begins to produce her own energy, because the new feed-in-tariffs she has signed up to mean she will be paid for every kilowatt of power generated.
