TSEA（Tennessee 太陽能協(xié)會(huì)），是官方承認(rèn)的非盈利機(jī)構(gòu)，在田納西大學(xué)的納克斯維爾法學(xué)院的幫助下，經(jīng)過長(zhǎng)期的過程后，于2009年7月4日建立。

TSEA現(xiàn)在能夠得到政府津貼，并且作為一個(gè)非盈利慈善機(jī)構(gòu)，捐贈(zèng)給該機(jī)構(gòu)的資金都被認(rèn)為是可扣除的稅款。這個(gè)組織將吸引新的對(duì)太陽能支持的公司前來報(bào)道。

TSEA計(jì)劃向大眾展示太陽能科技，并出版期刊去加強(qiáng)州政府對(duì)太陽能的重視，創(chuàng)建一個(gè)潛在州范圍內(nèi)太陽能地點(diǎn)的數(shù)據(jù)庫，在潛在的太陽能投資上進(jìn)行經(jīng)濟(jì)研究。

The Tennessee Solar Energy Association (TSEA) has gained official recognition as a not-for-profit entity. The organization was founded on July 4, 2009 and says it has since been in the lengthy process of achieving this status with help from the Knoxville College of Law at the University of Tennessee.

With this news, TSEA can now receive grant funding and is considered a charitable organization; any donations made to the organization are now considered tax deductible.  This will likely attract new members throughout the state of Tennessee who wish to show their support for adoption of more solar
power, according to the organization.

In addition to running the upcoming Knoxville Solar Tour, sponsored by the American Solar Energy Society, TSEA plans to provide public demonstrations of solar technology, publish a periodical to highlight state-wide initiatives to increase solar power, create a database of potential solar sites across the state, and perform an economic study on the investment potential in solar energy.
