2010年8月17日，伊利諾州州長派屈克.坤抵達(dá)萬翔美國公司在洛科夫建設(shè)的新的光伏組件生產(chǎn)工廠。該州當(dāng)日宣布將向洛科夫的62MW光伏項(xiàng)目，美國中西部乃至全美國最大的光伏項(xiàng)目之一，提供超過400萬美元的激勵(lì)獎(jiǎng)金。并且州長也出席了萬翔美國公司太陽能組件生產(chǎn)工廠剪彩慶典。

Corporation’s newly built solar panel manufacturing plant in Rockford, Illinois today to announce an over $4 million stimulus grant award for an up to 62 Megawatt (MW) Rockford Solar Project, the largest photovoltaic (PV) solar development in the Midwest and one of the largest in the United States, and to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony of Wanxiang America Corporation’s solar panel  manufacturing plant. “The state’s
investment will help ensure Illinois remains a leader in renewable energy
development, while continuing to build on the state’s energy independence goals,” said Governor Quinn. “With partnerships with companies like Wanxiang and New Generation Power, we’re creating hundreds of sustainable, green-collar jobs and providing an economic boost to the entire state.”
